
Joe R. Maldonado is an accomplished Producer/Director and a gifted emerging filmmaker. He began his professional career in 1995 in the Rio Grande Valley as a grip and technical consultant. From 1996 to 1999, Maldonado worked with Summit Productions, Inc., NBC 23, GRAAB Productions (L.A. Company), and the University of Texas Pan-American on various projects, such as local commercials, educational programming, music videos, and concerts. In 1999, Maldonado moved to Austin , Texas where he attended film school. Working alongside other aspiring filmmakers proved very beneficial to him. In 2001, Maldonado directed “The Late Show,” which was screened in several film festivals across the country. In 2002, he was contracted to write, direct, and produce projects for the University of Texas Pan-American , Division of External Affairs. One such project, entitled “Adelante,” was an award-winning three part DVD Interactive funded by the Texas Workforce Commission. “Adelante” went on to receive notoriety from numerous state officials. Joe R. Maldonado is always looking forward to working on new projects, whether they be training videos, commercials, music videos, feature films or independent shorts. Whatever project comes his way, Maldonado commits himself 110%, getting involved in all aspects of production to ensure that the client receives the best quality product.
